Long Island Episode ... Hopefully

I'm hoping How the earth was made does a specific episode on Long Island. My school is on one of the moraines
that runs through Queens (NY).

Have to switch to THE UNIVERSE

Well ... now that's I'm officially done with Geology & Weather and am currently on Astronomy ... I've switched to
THE UNIVERSE (also from the history channel)!

Guess I need to start a new blog about THE UNIVERSE!

Saharra Episode

Although I'm looking to start Astronomy come Monday ... I still want to continue the climate momentum by showing
my students the Sahara Desert Episode. I think it's the perfect followup to the Atacama Desert Episode.

America's Ice-age

As we are wrapping up climate / weather ... I showed my students episode on america's Ice age. A great episode in illustrating how Ice-ages shaped North America's Landscape.

Atacama Desert Episode

We just wrapped up weather and climate and this episode does a great job in covering some factors that affect
climate. Rain-Shadow, Currents, Location away from a large body of water, and the desert straddles the tropic of capricorn.

Iceland Episode

Considering the events with the Iceland Volcanic Eruptions, I took the opportunity to show my class
the Iceland episode to help explain the Island's Geological History and Processes. The class found it very informative.

Tsunami Episode

Purchased the Tsunami episode. The scenario with a Mega-Tsunami hitting the east coast is a scary thought.
